Yahoo doesn’t allow you to delete your account using the mobile application. You have to use a web browser if you wish to delete Yahoo account permanently.
 
Step 1: Go to Yahoo Account Termination page.
Step 2: Enter the Yahoo Id which you want to delete and then click on “Next”.
Step 3: Provide the password associated with the account that you have just entered. If you have forgotten the password to your account, you should try and recover the Yahoo password first.
Step 4: Yahoo! will show all the thing that you will lose once you delete Yahoo account. Yahoo will take 40 days to delete your account permanently. It may take longer if you are registered in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and Taiwan. Before the expiry of this period, your account is just temporarily deactivated, and you can return back in just by logging in with the old email and password.
